Citie Ballet is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing ballet and contemporary challenges to young aspiring dancers each year. Under the direction of Francois Chevennement, the company hopes to expand and create more works, providing more opportunities for emerging choreographers and dancers. As we are a non-profit society, we require continued support of sponsors and donors in order to help Citie Ballet grow each year.

Citie Ballet performs throughout the year, with audiences averaging 300 people per show. We print 350 programs per show reaching people 12 years old and up, from drastically different demographics.

Through Community Spirit we gather people from all over the city and surrounding areas, as well as reach 12 different areas of the dance scene. Through collaboration we are able to tap into different cultural communities such as the Ukrainian community through Shumka and the Philippine community through Chameleon Dance Theatre.

During our 10th anniversary season we will be calling back Alumni and previous collaborators to join us in Celebration. This will draw in our most diverse crowds yet and be an event that will be talked about for the next 10 years.

Citie Ballet advertises events through many forms of media, including our website www.citieballet.com, social networking ­ Facebook, mass emails, and Posters. Citie Ballet reaches thousands of people every year, advertising events through many forms of media.
